Mystery Escape City offers outdoor escape room experiences that players access through our website. Players use their smartphones to receive digital clues and puzzles which they solve as they explore real-world locations in their city! Players will complete challenges in outdoor settings such as parks, college campuses, or urban environments. It combines the excitement of traditional escape rooms with the thrill of exploring real-world locations.

2. After you purchase the tickets, you will receive an email with your starting location and more information.
3. When you are ready to play, share your ticket code with other group members to join the game.Click “Play Now” in the right hand corner of our website to enter the ticket code.
4. Go to the designated starting point in the real world where you'll use your smartphone to access clues and solve puzzles to progress through the game.
5. Click start to begin your timer and play!

Tip: We would recommend playing when it is still light outside because your surroundings may be harder to see in the dark making solving more difficult.

Tickets for Mystery Escape City games are priced at $5 per device. It is recommended that each player use their own device to participate in the game.

Our current games are recommended for ages 14+ as some puzzles have more complex problem solving and critical thinking. There are hints provided throughout the game to help just in case players get stuck.

Make sure you have your mobile device to be able to access the clues and puzzles. Paper and a pen may be useful for problem solving, but are not necessary. The games are outdoors so dress appropriately for weather conditions!

You will have 90 minutes to complete the game with the competitive timer, but you can access the game for up to 3 hours.

Each ticket code allows for up to 10 devices to play on the same game. If you have a group larger than 10 people, we would suggest splitting up into smaller groups of 3-6 players. Purchase ticket codes for each of those smaller groups and play competitively against one another!
